Glade Cottage at the White Lotus Eco Spa and Retreat

The area was rustic which is fine but be prepared to get your groceries, including water for drinking and cooking, long Positive: The interior of the house and furniture was clean. The porch could have used a good sweeping. Negative: The tap water was brown and the water in the toilet was orange. Bring plenty of water for drinking and cooking. Ants were on the countertop and were coming from the back of the stove. Killed numerous of the ants. The spa was located down a muddy path and we were advised that you had to start your own log fire to heat up the spa. As stated in the property instructions it was difficult to find. It didn’t help matters that the signage was partially covered by foliage. The fire pit was surrounded by tall grasses.

Very good for the price, host was quick to help with any issues we had.

Listing said there was a hot tub, but there was none, the listing said there was a fireplace inside, but there was none. The amenities were too far to the next building to even enjoy and difficult to find at night time, but the bed was very comfortable and the patio was nice. I will not go back, as per my video there was a huge trash pile in the back. There was an outdoor fire pit as the listing said however, by the time we checked in, it was so dark in the backyard we could not find it, and it was extremely tiny with only three logs available.

It s a unique place for sure and we enjoyed our stay. The only thing that would have made it better would be more signage and an updated map. We had a difficult time finding the Glade cottage and had to ask where to find the hot tub.
