Glade Cottage at the White Lotus Eco Spa and Retreat

Fantastic stay for Shenandoah hikes. Make sure to shop before hand because grocery and gas are quite far, but the property is beautiful and has many little critters running about near the main clubhouse (i.e., kitties of many kinds and a massive duck as well). The grill is a George Forman but it still worked as well as we needed for basic hot dog and burgers for dinner. Overall great experience and will absolutely book again if we return for more hiking!

Glade Cottage was a great accommodation for a week away for my husband and I. We spent most of our time exploring the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. We were about 20 minutes away from the Swift Gap entrance of Skyline Drive. We weren’t far from restaurants in Stanardsville and Ruckersville. Glade Cottage was cozy and exactly as pictured. We didn’t have any issues but I know the manager and owner would have been helpful if we needed anything. We did lose cell service closer to the cottage but had an excellent WiFi signal in the cottage. We didn’t eat meals in the cottage but the kitchen would have been very accommodating with a full size refrigerator, stove and oven. Towels and linens were provided. The smart TV was a nice way to relax after a fun day of hiking. Bathroom was small but shower had great water pressure and was always warm! We had a great stay at Glade Cottage and would definitely stay there again if ever in the area.

Love this cottage! Great place to go with your partner, the cottage provides a lot of privacy while also being very close to communal buildings on the property. My Pug loved watching the deer in the front yard! Can’t wait to make this a regular getaway for my family.
