Zen River Retreat

Avoid this location Positive: This place is nothing like described in the pictures. There is no signage how to get in there!!!! We were happy that we would spend a relaxing weekend at this property. I mean from the pictures looks amazing but reality is completely different! We got there around 6:30 pm and no signage to describe how to get in there the map was rolling around us without a destination. We asked a couple that passed by how to get in there and they sent us to the wrong location! Which was an awful house with dogs outside and in cages we were even scared that someone would show up with a gun to tell us we were in their property !!! Called the responsible person and told that we can’t get to their property as per described and they said to wait 15 minutes for them to arrive! We waited there again this place is completely in the woods with no lights or signs ! He called after 25 minutes to say that he was there by that time we had left ! We waisted a lot of time in the middle of nowhere! He refused to refund us for the whole misleading information that was in booking! Booking customer service is not helpful neither. They don’t keep their accountability on members!

A wonderful, secluded spot for a romantic or meditative stay. Positive: Beautiful location and house. The property is well-maintained and extremely comfortable. Plenty of room to enjoy privacy as well as quality time. We will definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family. Negative: N/A

A Little Slice of Heaven Positive: The location was awesome! Also, wifi/internet is available. Negative: No big issues

A great mountain retreat, we really enjoyed it! Positive: A beautiful and secluded location but still close enough to area attractions to be convenient. Negative: It’s a little difficult to see the driveway at night so pay very close attention to the host’s written instructions about where to turn, especially if arriving for the first time after sunset! Your GPS will take you past it so do not rely on your GPS once you are on Mutton Hollow Rd. (Host mentions that in the instructions also)

We swam in the dipping pool, watched the fireflies by the campfire and loved being in the mountains. Positive: Stunning location and grounds
